Catanzaro was named Most Outstanding Wrestler of the Region III/Northeast District Championships. Catanzaro went 2-0 at 133 pounds with a semifinal pin and a 13-6 decision in the finals. He helped the nationally-ranked Thunderwolves to the team title - the program's 27th regional crown.
