Weir placed 68th overall and was the top NJCAA finisher at the Houghton Highlander Invitational. He led SUNY Erie to an 8th-place team finish in a competitive field. His time of 28:48.2 was a personal record by 21 seconds and put him in 31st on the NJCAA performance list for the 2024 season.
