The Hudson Valley CC men's cross country team placed first overall and claimed the NJCAA Region III title, led byCraw. Jaraed won the race as he crossed the finish line with an official time of 30:38.4 nearly a full minute (59.8 seconds) ahead of the second place finisher.

Spencer Urquiza Sport: Soccer College: Cayuga Community College Hometown: Pflugerville, Texas
Spencer helped lead the Spartans to the Region IIIB Championship this week including an upset 3-1 win over Herkimer in the championship game. In the team's two playoff victories this week he scored a pair of goals and had a pair of assists. |

Jenna Caskey Sport: Volleyball College: Jamestown Community College Hometown: Sinclairville, New York Jenna had an outstanding weekend for the Jayhawks and was named MVP of the Region 3B Championship, helping lead the Jayhawks to the National Championship Tournament for the second straight year. Not only did she produce 32 kills on 9 errors in the championship game, she added 23 digs and 2 blocks leading the team come brack victory after falling behind two sets to one in the championship.

Leah Czechowski Sport: Soccer College: Genesee Community College Hometown: Akron, New York Czechowski scored three of her team's four playoff goals en route to the Region 3B championship this week. She scored the game-winner in a 2-1 championship game victory over Mohawk Valley CC and was named the Region 3B Tournament MVP. |

Sarah George Sport: Soccer College: Herkimer College Hometown: Dolgeville, New York Sarah tallied a goal and an assist in Herkimer's semifinal win in the Region 3A Championship Tournament over Hudson Valley CC. She then scored both goals in a 2-0 upset win over top nationally ranked Erie CC in the championship game, handing ECC their first loss of the season. |

Mercedes Planavsky Sport: Cross Country College: Hudson Valley Community College Hometown: Ballston Spa, New York Planavsky led the Viking's Women's Cross Country team to the Region III Championship as all five scoring runners crossed the finish line inside the top-8 positions. Mercedes won the meet with a final time of 21:13.2, 36 seconds ahead of the runner-up finisher and over a minute and a half ahead of the third place finisher. |
