Male Athletes of the Week

Brandon Bullock Sport: Basketball College: Finger Lakse Community College Hometown: Kileen, TX Bullock helped keep the Lakers win streak going this past week with a pair of impressive performances. He had 19 points, 14 rebounds, and 6 steals on Thursday against Broome. He backed that up with a 35 point outburst on Saturday at Jefferson. It was the second highest scoring performance in school history. He also added 8 rebounds and 7 assists against the Cannoneers. Overall on the week, Bullock made 67% of his shots from the field, and went 100% (17-17) from the free throw line.

Mykelle Krecko Sport: Basketball College: Clinton Community College Hometown: Peekskill, NY Mykelle helped lead the Cougars to a 2-0 start this semester with wins over Hudson Valley CC and Columbia-Greene CC. In the wins he averaged 24.5 points per game on 22 of 29 shooting (75.9%), 14.5 rebounds per game, 6.5 blocks per game, 2.5 assists per game and 1 steal per contest.

Female Athletes of the Week

Randi Conway Sport: Basketball College: Broome Community College Hometown: Bainbridge, NY Randi scored a career-high 31 points and grabbed 10 rebounds on Thursday against Finger Lakes. She followed that up with another double-double against Tompkins Cortland with 18 points and 10 boards. Conway finished the week averaging 24.5 points and 10 rebounds.

Alyssa Crosby Sport: Basketball College: Jefferson Community College Hometown: Briar Hill, NY Crosby helped lead the Cannoneers to 2-0 record in the Mid-State Conference with wins over TC3 and Finger Lakes CC posting a pair of double-doubles averaging 28 points and 14 rebounds a game while shooting 67.6% (23-34) from the floor. In the two games she also had 6 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocks.

Jesse Dewaters Sport: Basketball College: Niagara County Community College Hometown: Lockport, NY DeWaters led the unbeaten Thunderwolves to a pair of wins this past week. In a 71-23 win over visiting Lakeland CC, DeWaters had 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. In a 72-50 win at NCAA Division III Alfred State, DeWaters had 22 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. She is currently second in the country, averaging 7.0 assists per contest.
