Matt Barton Sport: Basketball College: SUNY Delhi Hometown: Brooklyn, NY Matt made ten three-point field goals and scored a career-high 30 points on Wednesday in a 73-68 win at Columbia Greene CC. He added three steals in the victory. On Saturday Matt scored 22 points and handed out 4 assists in a 98-76 victory over Clinton CC. For the week Matt averaged 26 points, 3 assists and 2 steals, while shooting 16-24 from three-point range.

Will Arberry Sport: Basketball College: Finger Lakes Community College Hometown: Milwaukee, WI Will averaged 18 points a game this week, leading the Lakers to a pair of victories. He provided good balance on the offensive and defensive end for Finger Lakes, who has won 4 games in a row. Arberry averaged 7.5 rebounds a game for the Lakers as well.

Jaclyn Welch Sport: Basketball College: Niagara County Community College Hometown: Colonie, NY Freshman sharp shooter Jaclyn Welch helped the Thunderwolves (15-0) to three wins this past week. Welch had 14 points and three steals in a 70-58 win over Cuyahoga CC. Then in a 78-74 win over CCRI, Welch notched a career-high 34 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. She continued her torrid pace with 31 points and five steals in a 71-68 overtime win against Durham (Ont.) College.

Kathleen Coloney Sport: Basketball College: Jefferson Community College Hometown: Harrisville, NY Coloney helped erase a 6 point half-time deficit for the Cannoneers as they went on to beat North Country CC to finish the semester at 8-2. In the second half Kathleen scored 15 points and 13 rebounds to lead the come back. She finished the game with a career high 22 points, 17 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 3 assists.
