Ryan Killian Sport: Soccer College: Cayuga Community College Hometown: Scipio Ryan completed a great win for Cayuga, 6th seed in the west, over 3rd seed in the East, SUNY Delhi, with 7 minutes to go in the NJCAA Region 3 Sub-regional game. Ryan beat two defenders and goalkeeper to put Cayuga up 2-1 and win the game for the Spartans. Killian now has seven goals for the season.

Matt Brooks Sport: Cross Country College: Mohawk Valley Community College Hometown: Utica, NY Matt won the Regional championship to go along with last week’s Mountain Valley Conference win. Brooks finished with a time of 28:47, 26 seconds ahead of his closest competitor. He remains unbeaten in Region Dlll this year.

Kayla Barber Sport: Volleyball College: Herkimer County Community College Hometown: South Glens Falls, NY After recovering from and ankle injury, Kayla came back to lead Herkimer to the Mountain Valley Conference Championship. Kayla was also named to the All-Conference team. She totaled 34 kills, 8 aces, 15 digs, and 6 blocks.
