Male Athletes of the Week

Brian Arcara Sport: Soccer College: Finger Lakes Community College Hometown: Orchard Park, NY Arcara allowed just 3 goals on 55 shots on goal this week for a 0.945 save percentage. He recorded 2, 110 minute shutouts this weekend in matches against North Country CC and Clinton CC including a 30 save performance against NCCC. Brian currently leads the nation with 79 saves on the season.

Jason Boxx Sport: Soccer College: Cayuga Community College Hometown: London, England Jason scored an individual effort goal, beating 5 defenders before putting it pass the North Country keeper to open his scoring for the season and Cayuga's first goal of two in Cayuga's win over NCCC. Not only did he score, but NCCC didn't get many chances in front of the Cayuga's goal because of his defending.

Kelsey Ray Sport: Volleyball College: Corning Community College Hometown: Horseheads, NY Kelsey was named Tournamnet MVP at the Jefferson CC Invitational this past weekend leading the Red Barons to a perfect 5-0 record on the day and a 7-0 record to start the season. In seven matches this week she had 74 kills, 8 aces, 36 digs, and 21 blocks.

Brittany Maggio Sport: Soccer College: Finger Lakes Community College Hometown: Ontario, NY Maggio, had her best game of the week with 3 goals against Hudson Valley CC to lead the Lakers to a 3-2 win. She followed that with an assist against North Country Community College in a 5-0 victory and her 7th goal of the season against Clinton Community College in the 4-0 win for a total of 9 points on the week.
