Glenn Holmes Sport: Soccer College: Genesee Community College Hometown: Kilkenny, Ireland Glenn helped Genesee extend its unbeaten streak to 13 games with 3 wins last week. Known for his stealth defensive play, the sophomore captain recorded 10 points from his defensive position with 4 goals and 2 assists last week. The 4-goal week brought the Ireland native’s season total to 11 goals, to lead all Region III defensive players.

Sydnee Metzold Sport: Soccer College: Hudson Valley Community College Hometown: Rotterdam, NY Metzold helped Hudson Valley to a 2-0 week after defeating Broome 4-0 at home and Onondaga 2-0 on the road last week. Sydnee combined for seven points on two goals and three assists as the Vikings extended its win streak to five straight. She currently leads the Vikings in scoring with 11 goals, eight assists for 30 points this season.
