Charlie Livesey Sport: Soccer College: Genesee Community College Hometown: Sandbach, United Kingdom Charlie produced in all three Genesee contests last week helping team to extend its unbeaten streak to 10 games by netting 3 goals and 4 assists for the No. 3 Cougars. His 10-point week started with a pair of goals and a pair of assists against Jamestown Community College Wednesday. Then the sophomore forward sent a corner kick toward the net against No. 4 Herkimer with just 20 seconds on the clock that resulted in a game-tying score for a big assist to keep the Cougars’ unbeaten streak intact on the road Saturday. Charlie completed the week with a goal and an assist against Fulton-Montgomery to move Genesee to 10-2-1 on the year.

Tyler Zelinski Sport: Football College: Erie Community College Hometown: Medina, NY Zelinski set new school records in both passing yards and touchdowns when he threw for 357 yards and 5 touchdowns this weekend against the College of DuPage.

Kayla Bryant Sport: Volleyball College: Onondaga Community College Hometown: Marcellus, NY Kayla helped Onondaga improve thir record to 24-0 this week with seven match wins. Bryant was named MVP of the Cara Bryant Memorial Tournament as the Lazers finished a perfect 6-0. In 17 sets of action this week Bryant had 12 aces, 39 digs, 159 assists, 19 kills, and four blocks.

Rachel Todd Sport: Soccer College: Herkimer College Hometown: McGraw, NY Rachel led the Generals in goal this week as the team collected wins over Mohawk Valley CC and #1 national ranked Genesee CC. In 135 minutes of action Todd surrendered a single goal while collecting 13 saves. Rachel has allowed only seven goals this season as the team improved its overall record to 12-1, 10-1 against Region 3 competition. |
