Gabriel Knaut Sport: Swimming & Diving College: Monroe Community College Hometown: Sorriso, Brazil Gabriel excelled in the sprint events in a pair of meets last week for the Tribunes. The freshman won the 50 free (21.34) and the 100 free (46.31) to help lead the MCC men to a 172-39 win over Erie CC on Wednesday. He then took first in the same two events at the SUNY Geneseo Invitational on Saturday, winning the 50 free in 21.17 seconds and 100 free in 47.08 seconds. |

Tyler Sullivan Sport: Basketball College: Onondaga Community College Hometown: Liverpool, NY Tyler reached 1000 point for his career this week when had 36 points and 10 assist in the Lazer's 103-90 victory over Corning CC. He is the first player in over 10 years to reach the milestone at Onondaga CC. Tyler is currently 2nd in scoring and 7th in assists in Region III. |

Samantha Britton Sport: Basketball College: Onondaga Community College Hometown: Tonawanda, NY Britton entered Saturday's contest against Corning Community College needing 17 points to surpass the 1,000 point mark in her Onondaga Community College career. In the 1st quarter she scored her 18th point of the game to notch 1,000 career points. She finished the game with a double-double having 28 points and 10 rebounds, as well as 2 blocks and 1 assist leading the Lazers to the win. She shot 12-16 from the floor including 1-2 from the 3 point line and 3-3 from the foul line. |
