Brian Fobbs Sport: Basketball College: Genesee Community College Hometown: Rochester, NY Brian led Genesee CC to its first 3-game win streak of the season with a pair of weekend tournament victories scoring 49 points and adding 19 rebounds and 6 assists. He scoring came in impressive and efficient fashion, shooting 74 percent including 6 for 8 from behind the arc and a perfect 9 for 9 from the free throw line.

TaLia Burgess Sport: Basketball College: Genesee Community College Hometown: Philadelphia, PA TaLia led Genesee CC in scoring in a pair of tournament wins as the Cougars emerged as the only undefeated team. Burgess scored 40 points with 11 rebounds and 4 assists that included 53 percent shooting from three-point range as she hit 10 of 19 attempts. She led the Cougars in scoring in both contests.

Jaida Washington Sport: Basketball College: Tompkins Cortland Community College Hometown: Elmira, NY Jaida posted the third triple-double of her career, and the third in the program's history, this weekend in a win for the Panthers over Hudson Valley CC. Playing at home, the sophomore had a monster game finishing with 20 points, 22 rebounds, 10 blocks, 4 assists, and 4 steals. With the entire second half of the season left on the schedule, she already holds the school's career record for blocked shots and is third on the career list for rebounds.
