Jordan Wright Sport: Basketball College: Columbia-Greene Community College Hometown: Hopewell Junction, NY Jordan was the lead scorer for the Twins in both games this week averaging 20.5 points, 6 assists, and 4.5 steals per contest, shooting 68% from the floor. In the first game of the week against SUNY Ulster Wright scored 22 points and recorded six assists and three steals. Jordan scored 19 points and recorded six assists, six steals, and four rebounds in the a Regional win over Jefferson CC.

Taylor Engster Sport: Basketball College: Hudson Valley Community College Hometown: Troy, NY Engster guided the Vikings to a 2-1 week, including wins over Monroe College-Bronx and Corning Community College, averaging 16.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4 assists and 2.3 steals per game last week. Taylor nearly had a triple-double in the Vikings win over Monroe College-Bronx, finishing with 23 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists. She scored 22 points in the Vikings record-breaking win over Corning on Sunday. The 205 combined points scored with Corning is an NJCAA Division III record. Engster forced double-overtime against Corning by hitting a buzzer-beating three-point shot at the top of the key, giving the Vikings the opportunity to win 104-101 in the second OT period. |
