Majesty Brandon Sport: Basketball College: Monroe Community College Hometown: Bronx, NY Brandon averaged 25.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 3.0 steals as MCC went 4-0 last week. He started the week with a career-high 31 points in a win over Mercyhurst North East on Wednesday, and matched that total in a victory against Chesapeake College on Sunday.

Ferran Martinez Sport: Swimming & Diving College: Genesee Community College Hometown: Barcelona, Spain Ferran accounted in whole or in part for more than half of Genesee’s 259 men’ swimming points in Potsdam last weekend. In addition to help setting three school relay records with three other teammates, Martinez captured first-place in all three individual races in which he competed. At 200-yard competition, Ferran’s first-place finishes were more than three seconds better than any other swimmer in both the butterfly and individual medley races. In his 400-yard individual medley, he finished more than 15 seconds ahead of the next closest swimmer.

Lanay Rodney Sport: Basketball College: Monroe Community College Hometown: Peekskill, NY Lanay averaged 24.6 points and 8.6 rebounds while shooting 64 percent from the field as MCC went 3-0 last week. She had 16 points in a win over Mercyhurst North East, then added 24 points and 13 rebounds as Monroe defeated Vincennes Saturday. She wrapped the week with 34 points and nine boards in a victory over #17 Owens CC on Sunday.
