Justus Hoffmann Sport: Soccer College: Erie Community College Hometown: Hamburg, NY Justus had a pair of goals and an assist in the Kats opening weekend of the season. Hoffmann picked up a goal and an assist in a 5-1 win over Mohawk Valley CC on Saturday. He then scored the team's only goal in a 2-1 loss to CCBC Catonsville on Sunday.

Katline Cartwright Sport: Soccer College: Genesee Community College Hometown: LeRoy, NY Katline scored her team’s only goals in the Cougars’ season-opening 2-0 win against the College of DuPage at Herkimer College on Saturday. The sophomore struck twice within an eight-minute span that sealed the victory for GCC. Katline’s performance inspired her teammates to another victory the following day over Nassau Community College, 1-0, to start the Cougars at 2-0 on the season.
