Jacob Durkee Sport: Lacrosse College: Tompkins Cortland Community College Hometown: Homer, NY On Wednesday, Jacob tallied three goals in the 17-2 win over Mohawk Valley, recording his second hat-trick of the year. On Saturday, he scored five times as the Panthers rallied for a 10-4 win at Jefferson. It was the second time this season the freshman has scored five goals in a game, and the first time this season the Panthers have won back-to-back games.

Reed Hnidy Sport: Lacrosse College: Genesee Community College Hometown: Saskatoon, Saskachewan Reed helped lead the No. 4 nationally ranked GCC men's lacrosse defense in a pair of games last week, combining to collect 15 ground balls and cause seven turnovers. Hnidy finished with six ground balls and two takeaways in a win over Jefferson CC and scored a goal, caused five turnovers and collected nine ground balls against No. 1 Nassau CC.

Alex Carey Sport: Lacrosse College: Erie Community College Hometown: Marilla, NY With the score tied at 8-8 late in the contest, Carey thwarted Herkimer’s best scoring chance – a breakaway with her 9th save of the day, before transitioning play that resulted in the game-winning goal with just 27 seconds left in regulation. It was Carey’s second win in as many contests and left her undefeated in Region III competition.

Samantha Moon Sport: Softball College: Onondaga Community College Hometown: Williamsville, NY In four games, sophomore outfielder/catcher Moon went 10-14 (.714) with a double, a triple, a homerun, 6 runs scored, 7 RBI, and 2 stolen bases in as many attempts. Moon registered multiple hits in each of Onondaga’s four games while helping lead the Lazers to a perfect 4-0 week.
