Zara Cole Sport: Tennis College: Hudson Valley Community College Hometown: Averill Park, New York Zara won the No. 2 Singles bracket and the No. 1 Doubles bracket with teammate Aubrie Murphy at the Region 3 Women's Tennis Championships hosted by Mohawk Valley CC this weekend. She begin her day with a win the Singles semi-finals with a win over Herkimer's Jordan Cody 6-3, 6-1. After a bye in the first round of doubles competition the team of Cole and Murphy defeated Rebecca Huynh and Philymena Dikar of MVCC 6-4, 6-3. She finished the day with a 6-2, 7-5 win in singles over Huynh. |
