Karianne Yuchnitz Sport: Swimming & Diving College: Jamestown Community College Hometown: Panama, New York Karianne helped the Jayhawks go 3-1 on the week including a 91-58 win over Erie Community College to secure the WNYAC Championship. Yuchnitz also set new records in the 50 yard freestyle (24.80) and in the 100 yard freestyle (55.38). In total, she collected four first-place finishes in individual events including wins in the 50 yard freestyle and 100 yard freestyle, swimming against competitors from NCAA Division II Roberts Wesleyan College and NCAA Division III Medaille College. Yuchnitz was also part of the 400 yard medley relay team that set a new school record with a time of 4:44.77. |
