Region III - Division II Basketball Tournament Matchups

The Tribunes from Monroe Community College once again earned the top spot in the women's tournament after finishing the conference season at 10-0. Monroe will host the winner of #4 Genesee Community College (4-6) and #5 Jamestown Community College (2-8).  The Cougars and Jayhawk will meet at 5:00 on Wednesday, March 1st when Jamestown travels to Batavia.  The teams played a pair of close games this regular season including a 65-63 by Genesee to secure the fourth seed and the right to host the opening round matchup. 

Monroe will take on the winner in the Regional Semifinals at 1:00 pm Saturday.  Niagara County Community College earned the second seed with a 8-2 record in conference and will take on #3 seed, Erie Community College in the second Regional semi-finals on Saturday.

The Region III Championship game is schedule for Sunday, March 5th.
