Region III Sportsmanship Award
Recognition for making the athletics experience a positive one before, during and after competition.
Region III of the NJCAA recognizes member institutions that throughout the year exhibit dedication to the honor and integrity of intercollegiate athletics and whose student-athletes and staff display outstanding sportsmanship during competition.
At the conclusion of each academic year all member institutions who have met the criteria for consideration for the Sportsmanship Award shall be recognized with a certificate and letter of commendation to their respective college president.
Award Criteria
- No Coaches Ejected
- No player(s) ejected multiple times
- Not on NJCAA “Probation” list for any sport
- No fines received for Service Bureau non-reporting or failure to participate in the All-Region balloting process.
- Final list of qualifying teams must be approved by Standards & Ethics Committee.
