Amber Edwards was a two-year, three-sport starter at Corning CC. She never spent a week on campus without a Red Barons uniform on. What sets Amber apart from others is the fact that she not only competed for 4 straight semesters on three different teams, she excelled at all three sports she played. In volleyball, she was 2017 an All-Mid-State Athletic Conference (MSAC) team selection and a 1st team All-Region III selection. She was a force at the net this season pounding 273 kills, collecting 68 blocks and putting up 268 digs. On the basketball court, she led her team to an 18-8 record this season and its first Regional Final Four appearance in 10 years. She averaged 18.2 points per game, 8.8 rebounds and shot 42.1% from the field. She was named All-MSAC Conference, MSAC Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Year, 1st team All-Region III and NJCAA 3rd team All-American. She spent her spring on the softball diamond where the starting infielder hit .358 with 11 doubles, 3 triples and a homerun, collecting 33 RBI's. She helped lead the softball team to a national ranking and a second-straight appearance in the Regional Finals. Amber was also named the 2016-17 Corning Community College Scholar Athlete of the Year for her excellence on and off the court/field; one of the best athletes/people to ever compete for Corning CC. It is no coincidence that all three teams she played on, both years, qualified for the Region Tournament in their respective sports. She competed in a total of 6 Region III Tournaments.

Considering her numerous opportunities, she has chosen to attend Houghton College in the fall,. She will be playing volleyball and women's basketball for the Highlanders while pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.
