Melvin Reid Sport: Football College: Hudson Valley Community College Hometown: Camden, New Jersey Reid played a lead role in the Vikings effort to come from behind against Ithaca JV. He broke off a 78 yard touchdown score to bring the Vikings within striking distance in the fourth quarter. He totalled 8 receptions for 160 yards and the one touchdown.

Romaine Watkis Sport: Soccer College: Mohawk Valley Community College Hometown: Toronto, Ontario, Canada Watkis scored both goals in a 2-1 Double OT victory over #2 nationally ranked Genesee Community College as the Hawks improved to 3-0 this season. With the win, the Hawks are the #4 ranked team in Division III.

Nidia DeArmaYero Sport: Soccer College: North Country Community College Hometown: Akwesasne, New York Nidia helped lead the Saints to a pair of Region III wins this week. In a 7-0 victory over Finger Lakes CC she scored a goal and added 4 assists. She was then involved in all of her teams scoring in a 6-0 win over Tompkins Cortland CC with 4 goals and 2 assists.

McKenzie Ryan Sport: Cross Country College: Hudson Valley Community College Hometown: Clifton Park, New York The Hudson Valley Women's Cross Country team placed ninth out of 10 qualifying programs, which included nine four-year programs, at the SUNY Poly Short Course Invitational this week. The team was led by freshman McKenzie Ryan, who finished the 4K race with a time of 18:38 (15th overall).

Andraya Warner-Davis Sport: Volleyball College: Hudson Valley Community College Hometown: Queensbury, New York Warner-Davis guided the Vikings to a win in the team's 2019 season opener over Paul Smith's College. She served the Vikings through 13 straight points in the third set to give Hudson Valley a 2-1 advantage and momentum in to the fourth set for the match victory. She finished the match with 8 kills and 17 service aces. |
