Ahamadou Fofana Sport: Basketball College: Erie Community College Hometown: Bronx, New York Fofana was named the Most Valuable Player of the Region III-Division II Men's Basketball Championship Tournament this weekend leading the Kats to their third straight Region III title. He average 21 points, 6 rebounds, and 9.5 assists per game, shooting 48% from the floor, including 7 for 16 from behind the three point arc.

Paige Emborsky Sport: Basketball College: Niagara County Community College Hometown: Newfane, New York Emborsky helped lead the Thunderwolves to their second consecutive Region III-Division II Championship. In the NCCC's two Regional Final Four matchups Paige average 18 points per game, on 8 for 18 shooting from 3 point range, along with 4 rebounds and 3 assists per contest. The Region III-Division II Player of the Year also surpassed 1,000 career points this weekend.
