Canty led the Vikings to a 2-0 start for the first time since 2015-16 as they defeated Rockland CC and Cayuga CC. Caleb led all scorers in both games and finished the week averaging 26 points per game shooting 57% from the floor, including 5 for 9 from behind the arc.

Freddy Eckles

Hometown: Angola, New York

Eckles won both of his matches at the Muskegon CC Duals on Friday and followed that up with a
first-place finish in Saturday's Ben McMullen Open. The 141-pound sophomore beat Olivet's
Andrew Castaneda, 11-7, in the finals.

Sarah Lacey

College:  Finger Lakes Community College

Hometown:  Rochester, New York

Lacey put up some big numbers in her first games of the season this past week as FLCC opened the season with a pair of games against Division II opponents. She scored 29 points in the season opener against Monroe Community College and 23 against Mercyhurst University - North East. She added 25 rebounds, three steals, and two blocks and went 12-15 at the free throw line shooting 51.4% from the floor.
