Cody Cooper Sport: Baseball College: Finger Lakes Community College Hometown: Farmington, NY Cooper hit .565 this week with 13 hits in 23 at-bats this week. He slugged 1.174 with a pair of doubles and four homeruns while driving in 13. Cody hit a pair of homeruns and collected 7 RBI’s in game 2 of Sunday’s doubleheader against Genesee CC. |

Brett Deerhouse Sport: Golf College: Onondaga Community College Hometown: Kahnawake, Quebec Brett led the Lazers to a pair of runner-up finishes this weekend at the Niagara CCC Invitational and the Genesee CC Invitational. Deerhouse carded a 76 on Saturday at Willowbrook GC as he finished third overall and followed with a 72 at Batavia CC on Sunday to finish second. |

Andrew Forte Sport: Lacrosse College: Genesee Community College Hometown: Pittsford, NY Forte helped Genesee advance to the Final Four in men’s lacrosse by winning 88 percent of the faceoffs and recording a team-high 11 groundballs in an NJCAA National Quarterfinal contest. The freshman midfielder won 14 draws and needed just 7 seconds to win his first draw and travel the length of the field for one of his two goals that came from his only two shots on goal. |

Fabrizio Tucci & Jeremy Attrill Sport: Tennis College: Onondaga Community College Hometowns: Valencia, Vanezuela; Australia Tucci and Attrill earned victories in first and second singles respectively at the Region III Championships this weekend and then teamed up to win first doubles and finish the championship undefeated. The duo finished undefeated in Region III this season. |

Elijah Washington Sport: Track and Field College: Hudson Valley Community College Hometown: Ballston Spa, NY Washington had a great day at the 2018 NJCAA Region 3 Outdoor Track and Field Championships last weekend. He was named the Male Field Athlete of the Meet with wins in the hammer throw and the shot put. Elijah tossed the hammer 45.67m and currently ranks first in the NJCAA for the Hammer Throw event. Elijah also won the Shot Put with a toss of 12.67m, which ranks him sixth in the NJCAA. Washington won All-Conference with his second place finish in the Javelin Throw, which he posted a final distance of 41.91m. |

Brittany Chamberlain Sport: Lacrosse College: Monroe Community College Hometown: Mendon, NY Brittany helped lead the Tribunes to their seventh consecutive Regional title this weekend with a 28-3 semifinal win over Genesee CC and a 24-12 win over Onondaga CC in the finals. Chamberlain tallied six goals in the championship game as was named tournament most valuable player. |

Marina Kessler Sport: Golf College: Jamestown Community College Hometown: Fredonia, NY Marina earned medalist honors at both the Niagara CCC Invitational and the Genesee CC Invitational this weekend. Kessler posted a season best 86 on Saturday and an 87 on Sunday to post her second best round of the season. Her weekend average is more than six shots better than any previous weekend this season. |

Courtney Laflesh Sport: Softball College: Jefferson Community College Hometown: Adams Center, NY Courtney finished the season with a pair of shutouts in her final two starts of the season. In the two starts she surrendered a total of five hits and two walks while striking out nine batters. Laflesh went 3-1 in her final four starts allowing just two runs in 27 innings recording a trio of shutouts. |

Ashley Martinez Sport: Track and Field College: Hudson Valley Community College Hometown: Red Hook, NY Ashley had a tremendous day for the Vikings at the NJCAA Region 3 Outdoor Track and Field Meet last weekend. She was named the Women's Track Athlete of the Meet following wins in the 100m and 200m dash events. She nearly swept all three major sprint events after she finished second in the 400m, 0.03 seconds behind the event winner. Martinez won the 100m and 200m events with final times of 14.13 and 28.47 seconds, respectively. Her 400m time was listed as 1:05.38. |
