Brian Fobbs Sport: Basketball College: Genesee Community College Hometown: Rochester, NY Brian became just the 12th player in Genesee CC history to score 1,000 career points last week with his 29-point performance against Niagara. He sank a three at the buzzer to give Genesee a huge WNYAC win on the night he reached the personal milestone. Brian scored 60 points last week in his two games and moved into the GCC all-time top-10 in scoring. In addition, he combined for 22 rebounds and eight assists as he continues to lead the nation at NJCAA D-II statistics for points and rebounds per game. |

Tytiana Taylor Sport: Basketball College: North Country Community College Hometown: Alexandra, VA Taylor, a freshman point guard, led North Country to three victories during week. In a road contest against Herkimer College she scored 16 points and added 9 rebounds and 5 assists. She then followed up that performance leading the Saints to victory over #2 nationally ranked Mohawk Valley CC with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. To finish the weekend, Tytiana continued serving as the floor general as she led the Saints to a 80-69 victory over Columbia-Greene CC with a double-double including 28 points, 9 rebounds, and 11 assists. |
