Glenn Taggart Sport: Basketball College: Cayuga Community College Hometown: Rochester, NY Glenn averaged 20.5 points and 4 assists per game this week as the Spartans went 2-0 in wins over #6 nationally ranked SUNY Delhi and Columbia-Greene CC. Through Cayuga’s first eight games of the season Taggart is ranked #24 in scoring, #10 in steals and #24 in assists in the nation for the Spartans.

Jovanni Chatham Sport: Basketball College: Broome Community College Hometown: Manhattan, NY Chatham averaged 21 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists in the Hornets 3 contests this week. He shot 63% from the field and 6-12, 50% from the three point line. The 6'2 point guard also recorded 5 steals and 3 blocked shots from the point guard spot.

Laquasia Berry Sport: Basketball College: Mohawk Valley Community College Hometown: Jamaica, NY Laquasia averaged 19.7 points on 20 of 46 shooting (43.5%) including 7 of 13 (53.8%) from 3, 4.6 assists, 2.3 steal and 4 rebounds while helping to lead the Hawks to 3-0 record this past week. Against Jefferson, Laquasia recorded 29 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, & 5 steals helping the Hawks avenge an early season loss.

Monae Abrams Sport: Basketball College: Fulton-Montgomery Community College Hometown: Bronx, NY Abrams, a sophomore forward, collected two double-doubles this weekend to help the Lady Raiders improve to 5-2 on the season. She tallied 23 points and 18 rebounds vs. Adirondack in a win and 25points and 15rebounds vs, Jefferson CC in a thrilling double overtime victory.
