Jon Feiler Sport: Basketball College: Herkimer County Community College Hometown: Smithtown, NY Jon led the Generals to a 4-0 record this week nearly averaging a double-double. He finished the four games averaging of 27.4 points per game and , 9.8 rebounds per game. He also added 12 blocks.

Mike Klugo Sport: Swimming & Diving College: Monroe Community College Hometown: Horseheads, NY Klugo, a freshman, won three individual events and was a part of two winning relays as the MCC men took first place in the Monroe CC Invitational Saturday. Klugo won the 100 freestyle, 200 freestyle, and 200 IM, and was part of MCC's victorious 400 medley and 800 freestyle relay teams.

Mykelle Krecko Sport: Basketball College: Clinton Community College Hometown: Peekskill, NY Krecko led the Cougars to a 4-0 week averaging 22 points, 18 rebounds, 2 assists, and 6 blocks per game. Over the weekend he helped lead the team to wins at #9 nationally ranked Mohawk Valley CC and Jefferson CC. In the win at Mohawk Valley he scored 20 points on 10-11 shooting with 19 rebounds and 6 blocks. He followed that with a near with 20 points, 15 rebounds, and 8 blocks.

Female Athletes of the Week

Bailey Hixson Sport: Basketball College: Monroe Community College Hometown: Shortsville, NY Bailey Hixson, a 6-0 freshman forward, averaged 18 points per game and shot 62 percent from the field as the MCC women's basketball team won twice last week. Hixson had 19 points, including five 3-pointers, in a 101-48 win over Jamestown on Thursday. She then hit five more 3's, pulled down seven rebounds, and scored 17 in a 95-38 win against Genesee Saturday. |

Amanda Marcely Sport: Basketball College: Onondaga Community College Hometown: Syracuse, NY Amanda led the Lazers to a trio a wins this week with 3 consecutive double double's. Amanda had 15 points 12 rebounds against Broome, 26 points 11 rebounds in a 20 point win at Jefferson and finished up the week with 13 points and 10 rebounds against TC3.

Jaclyn Welch Sport: Basketball College: Niagara County Community College Hometown: Colonie, NY Freshman guard Jaclyn Welch helped the unbeaten Thunderwolves (20-0) to three wins this past week. In a 75-58 win at Pitt-Titusville, Welch had 14 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. In a 73-41 conference win over Genesee CC, Welch finished with 26 points, a season-high 9 rebounds and 5 steals. In a 65-36 win against NCAA Division III Alfred State, Welch had 16 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals. Welch is currently 5th in the country, averaging 4.2 steals per contest.
