Kyle Garrison Sport: Baseball College: Herkimer County Community College Hometown: Schenectady, NY Kyle Garrison went 2-0 on the mound this past week winning against Suffolk CC and then defeating Gloucester CC. Garrison threw 10 innings with 12 strikeouts and allowed only 2 walks, 9 hits, and 3 runs. He helped the Generals to a 7-3 spring trip. |

Tyler Godfrey Sport: Lacrosse College: Genesee Community College Hometown: Lancaster, NY Godfrey tallied 12 points in two games last week for the Cougars. He scored four goals and added an assist in a win over #8 Monroe CC and scored six goals and had one assist in a win over Hudson Valley CC. The Cougars are ranked no. 6 in the NJCAA National Poll and are 4-2 on the season. |

Kenny Urbanik Sport: Baseball College: Finger Lakes Community College Hometown: Lyndonville, NY Urbanik had a strong week for the Lakers, helping the team pick up for wins over Division I and II opponents. He had 10 hits and 7 RBIs over the past week and has hit safely in 11 of 12 Finger Lakes games so far this season. He hit his first career homerun in a win of DII Cecil College. Kenny also had 7 stolen bases last week; his 9 total stolen bases leads Region III and is 11th nationally. |
Female Athlete of the Week

Rachel Mertens Sport: Softball College: Finger Lakes Community College Hometown: Syracuse, NY Rachel opened this season hitting .385 with 10 hits and 6 RBIs. She delivered the winning hit in the bottom of the seventh to lift Finger Lakes over Mohawk Valley CC in Myrtle Beach. In the circle, Mertens has posted a 3-1 record for the Lakers. She one-hit Columbia-Greene CC striking out 9 for the shutout win. She later got the win, allowing only two hits and striking out seven against Division II College of Southern Maryland. |
