Garrett Axtmann Sport: Soccer College: Hudson Valley Community College Hometown: Castleton, NY Axtmann recorded 10 points in a 2-1 week for Hudson Valley with back-to-back five point games against Jamestown CC and Clinton CC. Garrett scored twice on two penalty kicks against Jamestown and assisted and on the Vikings third goal to maintain the team’s two-goal lead. In the win over Clinton he scored a goal and assisted on three of the Vikings other five goals.

Colton Wigsten Sport: Soccer College: Tompkins Cortland Community College Hometown: Spencer, NY Colton had the game-winning goal in both Tompkins Cortland games this week. The sophomore is second on the team in scoring and has netted the winner in three games this season.

Mikayla Blumenstock Sport: Soccer College: Herkimer College Hometown: Poland, NY Mikayla tallied 4 goals and 4 assists in two games seeing 45 minutes of action in each game. Blumenstock currently leads Region III in scoring and points. She currently ranks 4th in the nation in goals and points leading the Generals to an overall record of 10-1.

Serina Guilianti Sport: Soccer College: Tompkins Cortland Community College Hometown: Harrison, NY Serina had a break-out day on Sunday, leading the Panthers to a Region III road win over Jamestown CC. The freshman scored all three Tompkins Cortland goals, including the game-winner in double overtime of the 3-2 victory. The hat trick was the first of Serina's collegiate career and leaves her tied for the team lead in goals and third on the team in scoring. |
