Ferran Martinez Sport: Swimming & Diving College: Genesee Community College Hometown: Barcelona, Spain Ferran helped the GCC men’s swimming team set three school relay records and he also captured first place three times at the NJCAA Regionals/NE District Championships helping the Cougars to a runner-up finish last weekend. Ferran captured half of all the team's individual first places that included the 200-yard butterfly, 200-yard individual medley and the 400-yard individual medley. The three school record relays Ferran was a part of were the 400-yard freestyle, the 400-yard medley and the 200-yard freestyle. |

Bridget Rust Sport: Basketball College: North Country Community College Hometown: Cementon, NY Bridget led the Saints to three victories this week, helping to put them into a position to receive an excellent seed in the regional tournament. Bridget averaged 19 points and 4 assists per game, shooting 16-31 from three point land. |
