Damon Hunter Sport: Basketball College: North Country Community College Hometown: Lyons, NY Damon led North Country to 3 regional wins this week. Hunter averaged 22 points, 8 assists, and 7 rebounds per game for the week in Regional action. He has led the saint to 4-1 Region III record and a 6-1 overall record to start the year.

Iyad Lablack Sport: Soccer College: Genesee Community College Hometown: Arles, France Iyad scored the game-winning goal in the NJCAA championship game to bring Genesee its first-ever NJCAA men’s soccer national championship. The freshman led all GCC scorers by scoring the team’s first and last goals in this year’s national tournament last weekend. Iyad’s goal in the quarterfinal game against Howard tied the contest at 1-1 and proved to be the impetus behind three unanswered goals in a come-from-behind win, while the championship game winner broke a 1-1 tie as the only goal of the second half in the title game in another come-from-behind win.

Tanisha Edge Sport: Basketball College: Columbia-Greene Community College Hometown: Cementon, NY Tanisha finished just shy of a double-double with 20 points and nine assists in a a matchup against Sullivan CCC this week. She also had three rebounds and three steals in the Twins victory. Tanisha recorded a double-double with 24 points and 13 rebounds in the team's victory over Schenectady CCC; she also had seven assists, three steals, and two blocks.
