Jordan Huber Sport: Baseball College: Erie Community College Hometown: Elma, NY Jordan led the Kats during its weekend regional baseball matchup against top-seed Herkimer College. The Kats came back to win games 2 and 3 after dropping the series opener with Huber as the team’s top batter in the playoffs. The freshman went 5-for-7 (.714) in the two playoff games with a double and a pair of RBI and accounted for one-third of Erie’s total 15 hits in the 2017 playoffs thus far.

Female Athlete of the Week

Casey Boltersdorf Sport: Softball College: Herkimer College Hometown: Levittown, PA Boltersdorf pitched in the Region IIIA playoff game against Columbia-Greene CC throwing four innings recording seven strikeouts while allowing one hit and one run. She also pitched in game 1 of the Region IIIA Championship against Genesee CC where her dominating presence led her team to an 8-0 win in five innings. Boltersdorf recorded the shut out with no walks and four stikeouts, allowing three hits.
