Male Athletes of the Week

Christopher Kidd

Sport:  Basketball

College:  Columbia-Greene Community College

Hometown:  Poughkeepsie, NY

Chris scored 29 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and had four assists in an overtime loss to #5 Mohawk Valley Community College on Wednesday this week. He followed up with a 10 point, eight rebound, three steal, and two assist outing against Clinton on Saturday.

 

 

 

Matthew Langerman

Sport:  Swimming & Diving

College:  Genesee Community College

Hometown:  Attica, NY

Matthew helped lead the GCC men's swimming and diving team to the Region III and Northeast District championships last weekend, winning three individual races and a share of the Swimmer of the Meet Award. Langerman won the 500 free (5:03.79), 200 free (28.82) and the 1650 free (18:06.66). He was also a member of the 200 free relay team that broke the school record and swam to a second place finish (1:33.91).

 

 

Female Athletes of the Week

 

Heather Chrisman

Sport:  Swimming & Diving

College:  Monroe Community College

Hometown:  Canandaigua, NY

Sophomore Heather Chrisman was named Co-Region III/Northeast District Swimmer of the Meet after helping lead the MCC women to their their 13th consecutive regional/district title over the weekend. Chrisman 100 breast, 200 breast, and 200 IM, and was also part of winning 200 free, 200 medley, 400 medley, and 400 free relays.

 

 

 

 

 

Megan Mack

Sport:  Swimming & Diving

College:  Monroe Community College

Hometown:  Rush, NY

Mack, a sophomore, was named Co-Region III/Northeast District Swimmer of the Meet after helping lead the MCC women to their 13th consecutive regional/district title over the weekend. Megan was victorious in the 200 free, 500 free, and 1650 free and also was part of winning 200 free, 400 medley, and 400 free relays.

 

 

 

 

 

Jessica Raymond

Sport:  Swimming & Diving

College:  Erie Community College

Hometown:  Jamestown, NY

Jessica took first place in the only diving event at the Northeast District/Regional Championships at Monroe CC last week. Not only has she won every diving competition this season, but at the NE District/Regionals, she set a new Erie CC diving record score with 373.40 in 1-meter diving.
