He had 1 goal and 2 assists on the road at Tompkins-Cortland Community College, and 2 goals and 2 assists in a home contest against #10 SUNY Adirondack.

Abdul Muhamed Sport: Soccer College: Erie Community College Hometown: Lackawanna, NY Abdul completed a dramatic come from behind victory for Erie against Jamestown CC by scoring a pair of goals in the game’s final minutes. He tied the game during the 86th minute of play and then scored the game winner with just 32 seconds left for a 2-1 win. Erie found itself on the opposite side of that score in its final regular season game against Broome CC in a 1-2 loss, but it was Abdul scoring the Kats’ lone goal on a penalty kick.

Kurstyn Macaulay Sport: Cross Country College: Jefferson Community College Hometown: Alexandria Bay, NY Kurstyn won the Mid-State Conference Championship race this weekend at Finger Lakes Community College leading the Cannoneers to the MSAC team championship. She completed the 5K course in a time 21:48.1, more than a minute ahead of the second place finisher as she was named Mid-State Conference Female Runner of the Year.

Amanda Modesto Sport: Volleyball College: Genesee Community College Hometown: Sorocaba, Brazil Modesto led the GCC volleyball team to a perfect 5-0 week last week with strong play in each of the Cougars' matches. Modesto had 23 kills and 10 digs in a five-set road win at Finger Lakes CC and totaled 36 kills, 27 digs, seven blocks and five aces in three wins at the FLCC POD event. Genesee (28-7-2) will compete in the WNYAC tournament this Saturday at Monroe CC.
