Alex Morris Sport: Basketball College: Genesee Community College Hometown: Dothan, AL Alex helped lead the GCC men's basketball team to three wins last week, averaging 22 points per contest for the Cougars. Morris scored 32 points and went 9-10 from the field in the second half against No. 20 Mercyhurst North East, added 15 points and nine rebounds in a win over Niagara County CC and ended the week scoring 19 points and grabbing seven boards in a win against Jamestown CC.

Aaron Wanat Sport: Ice Hockey College: Erie Community College Hometown: Cheektowaga, NY Wanat, the NJCAA's leader in points, added seven over the weekend in a pair of road wins at Elmira College that extended the Kats win streak to 7. He had a hat trick and an assist in the first Elmira game and followed it up with a pair of goals and an assist, while going a plus-7.

Thais Matté Sport: Basketball College: Genesee Community College Hometown: Caxias Do Sul, Brazil Matté averaged better than 17 points per game last week for the GCC women's basketball team. Matté scored 11 points and recorded eight assists in a win over Mercyhurst Univeristy - North East and finished with 20 points against Niagara County CC and 22 points and six rebounds against Jamestown CC.
