Mike McQuillen Sport: Basketball College: Niagara County Community College Hometown: Staten Island, NY McQuillen helped the Thunderwolves to a pair of victories at this weekends MSAC vs. WNYAC Crossover Classic hosted by Tompkins-Cortland CC. The sophomore guard had a team-high 20 points in a come-from-behind 100-96 overtime win over host Panthers. In Sunday's 70-61 win over Corning CC, McQuillen finished with 17 points, five rebounds and three assists.

William Stone Sport: Soccer College: Genesee Community College Hometown: Little Hampton, United Kingdom William was named the Most Valuable Player of the Region III Division III Men's Soccer Championships last week and helped lead the No. 1 GCC men's soccer team to its second regional title in school history. Stone scored three goals and had two assists in a semifinals win over Mohawk Valley CC and scored two goals and added an assist in the finals against Niagara County CC. He totaled 13 points in two games for GCC.

Jason Vranic Sport: Football College: Erie Community College Hometown: Wheatfield, NY Vranic led the Erie CC defense in a 17-13 win against Hocking College with 6 tackles, including 1.5 for loss. Twice the Erie defense stopped the Hawks on 4th-and-goal that could have resulted in a different game outcome. In addition, Jason intercepted Hocking on their final drive late in the 4th quarter with a return for 23 yards that allowed the Kats to preserve the win.

Albanellys Perez Sport: Basketball College: Niagara County Community College Hometown: Medina, NY Perez led the Thunderwolves to a pair wins at this past weekend's MSAC vs. WNYAC Crossover Classic hosted by Tompkins-Cortland CC. The sophomore forward had 17 points and 14 rebounds in an 81-43 season-opening win over the host Panthers. She followed that up with 12 points, 17 boards and six steals in a 78-63 win over Corning CC.

Sydney Stanley Sport: Soccer College: Herkimer College Hometown: Schoharie, NY Stanley collected two more shutouts in the Region III Semis and Championship game this past week, totaling 14 saves in 180 minutes played. She helped the Generals to a second consecutive Region III Championship, and now has 16 shutouts on the season to lead the nation.
