Jordan Hoose Sport: Basketball College: Columbia-Greene Community College Hometown: Philmont, NY In four games this week Jordan averaged 19.3 points and 11 rebounds per game. He started the week scoring 20 points with 10 rebounds and a block in a win over Hudson Valley CC. Hoose finished with 21 points, seven rebounds, and two blocks in a four point loss to Herkimer College. In Saturday’s matchup with SUNY Adirondack, Jordan finished with 14 points, 16 rebounds, and three blocks as the Twins fell by a point on a buzzer beater. On Sunday against North Country CC, Jordan finished with 22 points, 11 rebounds, and four blocks. |

Michael Scott Sport: Basketball College: Onondaga Community College Hometown: Chittenango, NY Scott helped lead the Onondaga men's basketball team to three conference wins last week after averaging 17 points and 11 rebounds per game on 20-of-29 shooting from the floor. Against SUNY Broome, the sophomore forward posted a double-double with 24 points and a career-high 19 rebounds before scoring 13 and 14, respectively against Jefferson and Tompkins Cortland. For his efforts, Scott has also been the Mid-State Athletic Conference's Player of the Week. |

Lyle Wagner Sport: Swimming & Diving College: Genesee Community College Hometown: Middleport, NY Lyle swept his individual events this past weekend at the Monroe Community College Invitational and helped the GCC men's swimming and diving team to a second place finish. Wagner placed first in three events, winning the 200 yard backstroke by almost eight-seconds (2:09.80), the 100 yard butterfly (56.80) and the 200 yard IM (2:07.53). He was the only Cougar to earn a first place finish at the competition. |

Kumba Marong Sport: Basketball College: Onondaga Community College Hometown: Bronx, NY Kumba continued her impressive play as the freshman center helped guide the Onondaga women's basketball team to three conference wins last week. Marong averaged a double-double with 11.3 points and 12 rebounds for the Lazers while also posting two blocks per game. The Bronx native posted back-to-back games with 11 rebounds before capping the week with a 15 point, 14 rebound performance against Tompkins Cortland CC. |

Stevie Ray Sport: Basketball College: Mohawk Valley Community College Hometown: Fabius, NY Stevie helped the Hawks to a trio of victories this past week over SUNY Delhi, Hudson Valley CC, and Clinton CC. Ray shot a phenominal 10-13 (76.7%) from 3 point range in the victories including a 5 for 5 performance against Clinton CC in just 13 minutes of action. In the three games Stevie averaged 17.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 3 steals per game. |

Merrick Rowland Sport: Basketball College: Niagara County Community College Hometown: Latham, NY Rowland led the Thunderwolves (18-2) to three wins this past week. In a 71-52 road win at Penn State DuBois, she had a team-high 18 points. The freshman guard then had 21 points and five rebounds in a 68-49 win at Genesee CC. Finally, in a 77-65 win vs. Bunker Hill CC, Merrick and finished with 15 points and four steals. |
