Elijah Newsome Sport: Basketball College: Hudson Valley Community College Hometown: Cohoes, NY Elijah scored 24 points and recorded 5 steals in a three-point loss to Clinton CC. He turned around and scored 28 points and 11 rebounds in an 84-78 road victory over North Country CC two days later. |

Sheldon Zablotny-Crosby Sport: Basketball College: Niagara County Community College Hometown: Erie, PA Sophomore guard Zablotny-Crosby led the Thunderwolves (12-4) to a pair of wins this past week. In an 86-82 win over Lakeland CC, Sheldon had a game-high 33 points to go along with eight rebounds. He scored Niagara CCC's final 10 points. He followed that up with 28 points, six assists and five boards in a 130-57 road win at Pitt-Titusville. |

Alyssa Crosby Sport: Basketball College: Jefferson Community College Hometown: Brier Hill, NY Alyssa helped lead the Cannoneers to a pair of victories this week over Tompkins Cortland CC and Finger Lakes CC. In the win over TC3 Crosby posted a triple-double with 19 points, 11 rebound, and 11 blocked shots. She followed that up with a double-double against Finger Lakes with 21 points and 12 rebounds while blocking another 5 shots. In the wins she also dished out 6 assists and had 4 steals. |

Caity Kuhnen Sport: Basketball College: SUNY Broome Community College Hometown: Binghamton, NY Sophomore Kuhnen helped the Hornets get off to a 2-0 start in conference play and improve to 7-4 overall. For the week she averaged 28 points, 12 reboundspg, 5.5 assists and 3 blocks per game despite seeing defenses focus on her. Against Finger Lakes CC, Caity had a collegiate high of 29 points. |

Chandler Prouty Sport: Basketball College: SUNY Broome Community College Hometown: Milford, NY Freshman Prouty scored her collegiate best 24 points on Thursday against Finger Lakes CC and followed that up with a 22 point performance on Saturday against Tompkins Cortland CC. In the Hornets two wins Chandler averaged 23 points per game and 11 rebounds per game. |
