Elvedin Hasanovic
Sport: Soccer College: Onondaga Community College Hometown: Syracuse, NY Elvedin played a large role in guiding the Onondaga CC men's soccer team to three consecutive wins last week. Hasanovic tallied three goals and combined for 13 shots as the Lazers dropped SUNY ESF, Corning and Tompkins-Cortland. Against SUNY ESF, Hasanovic notched two goals including the game-winning goal with just five seconds left on the clock. He followed up that performance with a goal in Onondaga's 3-0 win at Tompkins-Cortland. |

Tautis Poniskaitis
Sport: Soccer College: Cayuga Community College Hometown: London, England Tautis posted back to back shutouts this week helping the Spartans improve their great start to the season. His first was a in 2-0 win over Genesee CC notching 8 saves. His next shut-out came in the 2-0 win over the Finger Lakes CC Lakers, with 3 saves. Poniskaitis is currently first in Region 3 for save percentage, third in the Region in saves, and second in the Region in Goals Against Average. |

Todd Stevens Sport: Cross Country College: Mohawk Valley Community College Hometown: Holland Patent, NY Todd paced the Haws to a second place finish at the SUNY IT Wildcat Weekend Classic this week. Stevens won the 8K race in a time a 27:44 setting a new mark for a person best finish. |

Shawna Adams Sport: Soccer College: Genesee Community College Hometown: Bergen, NY Adams helped the Genesee CC women’s soccer team to two wins last week, recording 12 points in two contests for the Cougars. Shawna posted a hat trick scoring three goals in a 6-0 win at Cayuga Community College and added two goals and two assists in a 6-0 win at Erie Community College. She is currently tied for the team lead in total points so far this season with 20. |

Rachel Lumley Sport: Volleyball College: SUNY Adirondack Hometown: South Glens Falls, NY Rachel led the SUNY Adirondack volleyball team to a 5-0 straight set winning streak this week. Lumley made 19 kills, 5 blocks, 25 digs and 3 aces in the two matches against SUNY Broome and SUNY Delhi. Rachel is currently high ranked in Region III stats in 5 categories: Kills per set, Total kills, Hitting efficiency, Blocks and Aces per set. With Rachel’s leadership, the Timberwolves is at the mark of 4-0 conference and 14-2 overall. |
