Chuck Collins Sport: Cross Country College: Finger Lakes Community College Hometown: Geneva, NY Chuck won the 2014 Bruce Bridgman Invitational this past Friday, hosted by Finger Lakes CC. It was his first career win in his first collegiate 8K. He became only the second Laker to win the home meet and set a new record while doing it. His time of 28:00.5 was the fastest ever by a Laker in the Bridgman.

Montana Vescovi Sport: Volleyball College: Monroe Community College Hometown: Le Roy, NY Vescovi helped lead the eighth-ranked and undefeated Tribunes (9-0) to a 4-0 week. She had 44 assists and five blocks in a 3-1 win over Finger Lakes on Thursday. Vescovi then totaled 105 assists and 11 digs in three victories in a Region III Pod tournament Saturday. That included 54 assists, six digs, and six kills in a five-set win over #7 SUNY Adirondack. Vescovi leads NJCAA Div. III with 9.81 assists per set.

Brittany Maggio Sport: Soccer College: Finger Lakes Community College Hometown: Ontario, NY Brittany helped lead the Lakers to a 2-0-1 week including a pair of Region III wins and a tie against Division I Mercyhurst University - North East. On the week, Maggio scored 7 goals and added an assist.
