Johnson had a phenomenal showing at the Region 3 Championships this weekend, setting school, Regional, and pool records. In his first event of the weekend, Maxim won the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 22.74, a new school record. On day two, he placed first in the 100 yard butterfly (53.45) and in the 200 yard butterfly (2:01.61), setting two new school records. On the final day of Championships, Johnson placed first in the 50 yard butterfly with a time of 23.90, a new school and regional record. After the meet, he was named the NJCAA Region 3 Men's Swimming & Diving Swimmer of the Meet. |
